Having watched the irony and ridicule poured onto Donald for offering to buy Iceland, I can't help wondering.......
Exactly how long before Donald makes a real estate offer to purchase the UK?

I would like to know if you have actually lived in the US and a EU country besides the UK to make a valid comparison.
If you scratch below the surface of the US you will find the civil society quite authoritarian, militarised and less tolerant than most of the EU. They do a very good job of portraying it as the land of the free. It is but only in certain areas.
It's been mention about workers right, healthcare services etc which you will find virtually no-existant unless you are very wealthy....
Good to go for a holiday but I would not actually want to live there....

I answer, if for no other reason they regulate drug prices and all their citizens can afford healthcare, unlike the USA where they don't and 40 million of them are unable to afford any healthcare at all (that's 1 in 8 of the population). |

I just googled the figure, 9.1% of the US population has no health insurance.
So 90.7% have health care, that's hardly virtually non existent despite the fact it could be alot better. |

Hmm....so the current opioid crisis in the states is not being driven by the capitalist sales tactics of US pharma? Oh yes and what about drug companies being bought out by craven and venal entrepreneurs who then raise the cost of life saving drugs by huge amounts leading to early deaths of users unable to afford them any longer - even the US pharma thought this was too ugly and condemned the person in question.
