Is it bullshit that cows are causing huge co2 emissions - green house gas effect.

How can this be counter effected.

The alledged issue is methane not CO2, while they do emit methane from digesting plant based foods if we eat plants/nuts etc we emit it instead, and beef/ sheep eat grass which takes in large amounts of co2 while growing and are a vital part of the soil eco system of the planet

Well said ! True also adding grass uses photosynthesis like all plants and trees - converts and filters CO2 into water H2O and oxygen - our air - so having vast swathes of grazing grasslands in the UK & Ireland - is win win.

Add to this the thousands of hedgerows - ancient trees - woodland managed by farmers.

This also raises the fact that good soil with micro biology - worms - little gritters - the list goes on and on how we all should be looking out for " nature " and habitat the surrounds us all.

Eat Cow & drink milk..its too good to give up & it keep farmer barlymo in a job.

Central

Methane is the key problem, though the bigger issue is the huge amount of the world that is used to produce a small number of animal and plant crops but with a huge environmental impact. Cows are a part of this, for meat and dairy produce.

We should reduce our production of meat and limit our natural ecosystems damage, from palm oil production etc.

What about all the other animals including humans we all fart.So maybe the best solution is for all of us and all the animals to die and just leave the plants, problem solved Greta would love that lol
