Let’s see how this goes... what’s nice in your life, has anyone done anything nice for someone recently or has someone been nice to you? What are you thankful for? Do you have alternative safe plans to enjoy Halloween and Christmas, necessity is the Mother of invention after all. Friends and I are doing an online dress up Halloween quiz and music night.
Nice thing for me today was getting a message from a good friend who I’ve not seen for ages so we caught up on zoom  |

One time my cousin Walter got this cat stuck in his ass. True story. He bought it at the local shopping centre, so the whole fiasco wound up on the news. It was embarrassing for my relatives and all. But the next week, he did it again. Different cat, same results, complete with a trip to the emergency room. Then, last week, I saw him in the pet store. He was buying another cat. I said, "Walt, what the hell are you doing, you know you're just gonna get this cat stuck up your ass too, why don't you knock it off?" And he says to me, "Brodie, how the hell else am I supposed to get the gerbil out?"
My cousin was a weird guy. |

True story. He was on a plane to New Mexico when all of the sudden the hydraulics went. The plane started spinning around, going out of control, so he decides it's all over and whips it out and starts beating it right there. So all the other passengers take a cue from him and they start whipping it out and beating like mad. So all the passengers are beating off, plummeting to their certain doom, when all of the sudden, snap!
The hydraulics kick back in.
The plane rights itself and it land safely and everyone puts their pieces or, whatever, you know, away and deboard. No one mentions the phenomenon to anyone else.

What a lovely thread.
I'm still happy over some news I got at work yesterday. A project I've been championing has finally got the go ahead and will make a difference to so many people.
I'm a bit stressed today over an exam but by 9pm I can hit submit and try to forget about it until results time.
I'm looking forward to Halloween as I'm doing my first performance.. All be it pre recorrded and on Zoom but I'm excited to cheer all my other dancing friends on and see them.
As for Christmas, well I'm never a fan but I always make the effort to see my boys happy. Plus a real tree and fairy lights is always lovely.
So in general all is well in my wee bubble. |

My elderly neighbour baked me a victoria sponge yesterday. A home baked cake has become a regular payment for me doing a bit of shopping for them.
I was hoping to loose some weight durring lockdown etc but not with her sponges |
