So since it seems that After8 has gone, is there anywhere else in Edinburgh that might provide the same sort of safe space post lockdown? Do we think anywhere might open in it's place? Or is there even a chance of A8 coming back? |

The Edinburgh gay sauna, the pound has often been asked to do bi nights where they would take women and couples. Not sure that would ever happen.
Ive always been surprised that most of the party listings on here have always been in Glasgow and never Edinburgh. Obviously you have CJs but also places like the shoebox and there have been other 'party' providers over time.
Part of me thinks post-covid there might be a bit of a backlash against sex clubs/parties. I've already seen a few headlines like 'orgy busted by police 50 meters from covid testing site'. But then I've read economists are predicting a post-covid 'roaring twenties' of hedonism and promiscuity so who knows! |
