Why do the ladies complain about boring messages they receive , I can understand the unsolicited cock photos . But boring messages !! . Just because you have a vagina doesn't mean you have to rub our faces in it . |

1. We complain because it's tedious and frustrating and demoralising to be the recipient of a spammed copy pasted message. You would complain too if you were forced to wade through identical messages on the daily.

I'm not clear what's being rubbed in your face, but if you're implying that women in possession of a vagina should be grateful for the attention, or owe anyone sending them a message, a response, then you may be dissapointed when you learn of the level of disrespect and entitlement women receive in the messages sent to them. Being angry because women are not responding favourably to your advances, and implying women having impossibly high standards is somehow unacceptable, won't improve your success rate. Having empathy for the level of objectification women are subject to almost certainly will.

Thank God for the filters. It doesn't stop everything but it helps narrow your availibity to those that meet your criteria. My point was more, even with restricting who can contact you, you can't filter for the "hi how are you" messages which are the cause of women complaining about boring messages. There's no filter for lack of imagination!

I guess it comes down to what level of discomfort you're willing to put up with in your search for company. Ultimately we're all capable of looking at somebody's profile on the back of a message, and deciding whether or not they are for us. Which is why fab underscores that the universal response of you're not interested is silence. Do I think it's acceptable for anyone to be unkind or rude in response to a message they find inappropriate: no. Do I understand why it happens: absolutely. |
