Sitting with kids glued to the telly watching Super Gran.

Kid's think it brilliant.

However trying to explain what "scunner" means in terms of the baddy "Scunner Campbell" is proving difficult

Yep, a scunner is a nuisance, scoundrel, footpad etc. Usually said by Scots mothers to their offspring in years gone by.

I'm pretty sure they'll not show the episode of Super Gran that had Gary Glitter as an arch villain.

God, that takes me back. Got to be worth a watch to see he pops up in guest roles.
