Well given that its based on a pagen festival called Lupercalia where sacreficed goats blood was smeared on mens bodies to make their 'seed strong'. The men would then take strips of hide from aforementioned goats and use them to whip women, beating away evil spirits and increasing fertility.
I think its definitely a festival I could get on board with  |
