Boring post..

But does anyone else think coffee is minging and 99% of these fancy coffees are just overhyped, over priced endorphine inducers.

I agree that some of the fancy ones are mingling and over priced but a decent well ground coffee is so much nicer. The majority of instants are pretty rubbish too but its mostly trial and error to get the right one.

I'll quite happily drink tea or coffee, depends on what I fancy at the time. I'm bi-beverage.

The Mrs went like that while pregnant and never touched coffee since. I'm now quite partial to the Costa coffee from a jar . It's not to bad or a nice latte or cappuccino sachet now and then.

I could not survive without my morning Latte, got introduced to the delights of proper coffee in Australia years ago where they really know how to make it.

Bought a great coffee machine last year, even has a proper milk frother!

I’ve promised myself a brushed steel coffee machine when I move house as the current kitchen doesn’t have the space for all my stuff.

Until then, it’s an aeropress and ground coffee from caber coffee. It’s pretty good

Plain black coffee in minging, add a little honey and milk makes it so much better. Flavoured latte's are my favourite

Edit:

You can't beat a good strong, black coffee with a of couple sugars thrown in

!

Most people can't stomach black coffee either because:

A) It's instant and likely to be rotten anyway

Or

B) they are using ground coffee and pouring over freshly boiled water which essentially "burns" the coffee amd makes it very bitter tasting. 95 degrees C is perfect for getting hot coffee that's not scalded.

I got an adjustable temperature kettle and I've never looked back! Amazing piece of kit.

But I'm a coffee wanker/prick/hipster anyway and unashamed to be so haha...

C x
