Hi to all , janeandjim and ourselves are looking into co-hosting parties .
These would be held in a cottage somewhere in Central Scotland subject to availability .
These would be Friday and Saturday nights for approximately 12 couples between the 2 nights .
We are looking in first instance for names of couples interested in this .
As costs are high we would require £20 per couple payment . For this a buffet and soft drinks would be included , somewhere to put your airbed to sleep for the night and breakfast .
Confirmation would only be confirmed on payment , not going to get involved on last minute call offs , which often waste parties .
If you fancy a good night then get in touch with either of us , if enough interest the first party would probably be in February .

So for 20 quid over 12 couples thats 240 pound and we only get an airbed and soft drinks ...good luck with that !!! |

Count us in!
For £20 we get someone else to deal with the stress of organising a party, at a decent venue AND they'll exclude all the traditional lame last minute excuses (goldfish died, budgie get's lonely etc).
As for the food and soft drink issue, why should we fund someone else's excessive boozing.....don't have an problem with them eating all the pies ! |

Well any party I've been to there has been a wee drink to break the ice and as for eating all the pies well I like pies so if anyone's paying then they should expect more than a shitty air bed !!! |

P.s A friend of mines held party's for more than 12 couples he only asked for a small donation and you got wine food refreshments 20quid is steep for soft drinks and a crappy air bed in the corner of someone's house !!! |

Just to clear things up , we are hiring a place which has a 3 day minimum rental , be sure that the co-hosts are paying out a 3 figure sum each and the cost is to make up difference , this is open to all couples to put there names down and if you always have a choice to ignore this post if you don't like what you read .

Hiya we would be interested in coming along too and don't feel that £20 is over the top to ask at all especially as u are renting somewhere and that costs money.

we know this couple and i can assure anyone you will get your 20 pounds worth they dont desrve the crap on here that some folk are spouting. They are trying to give folk the option of somewhere different to have a nice time.

Big venue socials are diffrent but feck me...£20 and your to bring ur own booze and blow up bed...premier inns do a room for £19.

I did ask people to get back to the intention of the thread, but people seem to want to keep dragging up posts when asked not to ...Obviously the person they are quoting will answer, which then starts it all off again.
Can you please let others ask for meets without all this negativity....if the meet isn't for you I am not sure why you need to complain about it.
