It’s still better script writing than that matrix film

Gone are the good old days of spending half your ‘date’ picking a film in blockbuster

The Martian is great, few years old though. Dune is immense and I recently suffered Venom 2…it’s shite.

Watched The Founder the other night and really enjoyed it.

Michael Keaton playing the guy who turned McDonald’s into a franchise.

Oh, and yes the new Matrix is indeed fucking awful.

Great movie.

That, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri, and I Tonya are probably my favourites from the last few years.

Dead man’s shoes is on another level, hits the feels too.

Whilst not a film, if you fancy a covid related one, channel 4’s Help is fantastic. The Ipcress files a good remake too.

A surprise one for me last year was the boy from Harry Potter in ‘Jungle’ based on a true story.

Watched Help. Very, very upsetting. This was basically a friend's experience of Covid whilst working in a home. Stephen Graham is outstanding in it though.

Might give Molly's Game a watch after my dinner.

You should watch Molly’s Game.

Was the last movie I saw at the pictures with my friend before he passed away.

The mere mention of it puts a smile on my face.

Thank you very much.

An absolutely remarkable person.

Just grateful I met him but angry he only got 40 years and half of that was dealing with things like Leukaemia and Double Lung Transplants.

Eternally blessed for knowing him x
