I was up October last year and it was alright, apart from the fact there was workmen early morning right outside the window of my room being really loud (not talking power tools noise). The hotel is still in decent nick but can tell the owners haven't spent much money since they took it over. The restaurant is expensive and not great, consideirng the food offering in aviemore you'd think they'd up there game.
I enjoyed it and even booked an extra night while there, go in with an open mind and bear in mind some of the recent reviewers will be folk that are used to all inclusive breaks abroad and not used to stay-cations  |
