I have a friend who is feeling touch starved she is not in a position where she feels ready for sex but would love to have someone who would touch her in a non sexual way, hand holding, hair stroking, cuddling etc.
I suggested making a profile here and posting her request on her profile and in the forums
How many people out there would be genuinely interested in a “cuddle only meet” as she is worried that people would simply agree with the hopes of having sex |

I (n) actually done cuddle therapy but honestly couldn't find anyone genuinely interested in it that didn't turn it sexual. Really disappointing because I genuinely think it can help people for a multitude of different reasons |

Been there myself once or twice, where the sex alone isn't cutting it. It's been when my mental health has been close to rock bottom.
It went far beyond the usual being wanted, feeling useful, or connected - I just needed to be held, to feel safe.
The mind and body screamed out for it. I felt starved. The touch of someone's hand, or a cuddle on a couch seemed to squeeze me back together and restore me for a while.

Absolutely there are lots of us who would do this.
Stick a movie on, cuddle up and get the craic. Nothing more! Sounds like a good night.
If she's ever up this north, I'd be more than happy to meet her for a cuddle |

I think hugging is quite an intimate thing too. A quick hug ok, but to be held by a stranger would be a no from me too! |

Safety ALWAYS has to be a concern, even if it's 'just' pushy behaviour and realistically anyone who's going to mislead her about their intentions isn't going to do any differently in a forum response.
If only she had a good friend who was prepared to help her out with her predicament...  |
