Who is active in this scene? Old skool ravers still out shaking their shammy? Young team decided to get in about it all? Xxx

West Dunbartonshire

I went to Streetrave last summer in Ayr, first time I a very long time.

Lots of older people there who looked like they’ve still been banging gear since the 90’s.

Good mix and decent crowd though, it’s just so different at this age, compared to in your early 20’s

You should get yourself along to Trancefest in SWG3. That will take you right back to being in your early 20's again. The atmosphere is amazing!! 😍

I thought swg3 have put a pause on all rave type events for the near future.

I love it the scene but I generally only go to events abroad now as the younger generation spoil it a bit here

They usually do that as a reactive measure when something happens at the venue. And rightly so. Trancefest is amazing to go to as not as young an age group as say like Ben Nicky. I banged into my son's mates there 😂

I love trance music it makes me happy. Yet i get called out for liking it. Was playing Billie Gillies in the pub one day and some guy starts with "someone trying to be younger than they are, grow up' so he got put in his place

You should honestly get back in about it. The feeling is just the exact same when in that room with the lights and lasers and the beat 😍😍😍

😲 This sort of attitude in general confuses me. Like what has age got to do with anything? Life is for living. How can someone judge another on their love of music and dancing? It's completely baffling xxx

Loved the Arches back in the day. Inside out and pressure. Seen Judge, Carl Cox, Mauro Picotto Tiesto there too.

Went to an Inside out night at swg3 a while back, was fantastic. Only on till 11pm tho lol.

Dunno if I could hack it like I used to back in the day though lol 🙈

Oh I'm out the game for days afterwards now 😂 Even when sober! I did Trancefest sober in November. Drove there and back. Danced right at the front of the stage the whole night 😍 I was fucked until the Thursday 😂 xxx

Only went to the Arches a few times. My main memories where old school Rezerection, Fantasia and that scene (UltraSonic, TTF, ChillFM, The Rhythmic State etc).

Haven't been to any big gigs since Coloursfest. Might have to dust off the old Adidas tracksuits lol

Love all that music. Still. Love if I hear it on the odd occasion I’m out and would love to attend more nights where I hear it! Makes me feel young and carefree again

Old raver here. Rez in Edinburgh and Newcastle amongst others. Still listen to the music every morning at the gym. Old and new, I don’t think it will ever leave me. Early 90’s were unforgettable

Always will be. Awakenings in Holland, loads of wee Techno nights in glasgow, dj at some of them, although haven't this year. Riverside. Went to the last Rez in 2019. Too you go too most of them, probably 94 before I could get in. Ended in 97 I think..

But still going, still partying and still love it 😂😂 just don't enjoy the prolonged aftermath.
