Why are so many of the ladies having to post telling men to stop being abusive and grow up.

MEN! And you know who you are.... Get a grip of yourself and just stop. Would you treat a person like that in real life?

Grow up and stop being pathetic wee boys!

Rant over.

Totally agree with you.

I had one a few weeks back and how I went from gorgeous to something else I won't repeat on here was horrible

It's really sad because like you said they would do it face to face with a woman so why do they think it's acceptable on here!?( or maybe they do do in real life too who knows)

Thankfully these people are in the minority as most guys on here are respectable thankfully.

here and there

totally don’t get why anyone would act this way, not everyone likes everyone, not everyone fancies everyone, just get over it and move on, absolutely no need for any aggressive behaviour

They should ask themselves if this is the right place for them because behaviour like that is immature as fuck and makes things difficult for genuine guys

Does reporting anyone who says things like that achieve anything at all?

I know alot of men who have had dreadful abuse from females after sending a polite message.

I’ll never get the mentality of it. If you’re not someone’s type then you’re not someone’s type. Not sure what they hope to gain. I mean I don’t believe being abusive will cause someone to think they’ve made a mistake and suddenly change their mind. Not to mention people talk so more often than not word will spread about your behaviour

If some one doesn’t reply or I get a polite no thanks I just delete the message and move on.

Don’t see the point of nasty messages life’s to short!

Funny, considering women are outnumbered so much.

Agreed it does happen, I was sent a few messages from a woman after I told her I couldn't meet up due to prior arrangements, and she initiated the conversation not me 🫣

I'm more confused by the guys that actively persue you for a meet and then don't turn up without any communication. Do people get a kick out of it? We've heard of it loads but only happend to us for the first time recently. I'd love for people to be allowed to out the ghosts so they aren't allowed to repeatedly do it to people. It's ruining it for the decent guys on here. I'm certainly not meeting again other than at clubs for the foreseeable.

I think it’s just a general condition of the world and society as it’s evolved to, it just happens to manifest itself here. Rejection in any form can create the hostility, but we are being programmed, covertly, by social media to respond in such ways. People generally have a sense of social etiquette and reserve out in the wild and face to face, behind a screen and keyboard all bets are off and true colours are revealed.

Of course it should not be happening.

However, the demand for pictures in first message is off putting from women in my opinion. I get that they get bombarded with messages/unwanted pics but it’s frustrating for the ‘real’ guys on here that maybe don’t want to send a pic straight off the bat.

Nonone has to do anything, if they dont want to send a pic they dont have to message that person, doesnt give anyone the right to be abusive

In the 15 years in total ive been on the site and the amount of abuse ive been given , a thick skin is needed ..

sadly some folk just dont handle rejection well and therefore will always try and make themselves feel better by belittling the recipient of their advances .

Shame really because as stated word of mouth on here is rife and they just ruin what could be a lovely experience on site with their childish ways .

Rejections never easy whether rejecting or being rejected just most of us are adult about it .

As well i think anonymity has alot to play in it as i believe most wouldnt say the things they do irl and face to face .

You gotta take the good with the bad online ... just means that jem that ye find is all the better .

Politeness and respect cost nothing but can mean everything…

Social media seems to let some people believe they can say whatever with no repercussions unfortunately. It’s just bullying in another way☹️

100% no need for abuse ever, but people should be respectful in all ways. People have lost the ability to just be respectful full stop, is it a lack in irl social interaction that’s caused people to forget?
