Aberdeenshire

There must be some on here!

Whether it’s purely for hiking and company or with a view to adding in what this site is all about.

Think I've (mr) done 109 really wanting to get to 150 by the end of the year but trying to find the time with kids now is harder. I'd me up for meeting to get some done

If you’re like me you probably did all the closet ones and getting further away?

Not easy getting time to do hiking when you have kids.

There are several ridges that can get the tally up quicker.

100%

Fitness, stamina, freedom, adventure and good for the mind.

Also meet a lot of good people on the mountains.

I’ve done a load of them as well, but in weird in that I’ve never kept a tally of the number, it’s just been about the exercise and views for me. I’d say it’s probably somewhere between about 30-35 possibly. I’d need to sit down and remember which ones I’ve done and take some sort of note lol

Currently in Gloucestershire, but based in Aberdeenshire

Yes, have done many and with a mix of social hiking and ‘fun’ outdoor sessions finding a secluded spot on the way.

My urges are always strong and having had some willing companions throughout the years with the same thoughts and desires, it works well.

But you can’t beat a recumbent stone circle!

I’m in inverclyde slowly covered Greenock cut and kilbrachan, I’m only starting out so next balloch to Helensburgh.

It would be nice to have company as I’m not sure how to travel to the bigger ones

Why is that? Bagged them all in a year, can do more than 1 in a weekend?

That’s a lot in year, wouldn’t be possible for me due to working and add in the weather which limits hiking activities.

I try to do 30 per year, did 41 one year.

I’ve done all the Loch Ericht 6 in a day and the magnificent 7 of Glenshiel, many other big hikes.

There’s the Grey corries ridge just east of the Ben, it’s spectacular
