What film would you recommend?

Falkirk

Is there a film that you've seen that is overlooked, under rated or slightly off-the-wall that most people wouldn't have seen, but which made you laugh?

.

Anything you think people should take a look at?

.

I would recommend Empire Records for its dark humour and soundtrack. Or California Man (Encino Man if you look it up on imdb). Or The Boat That Rocked for a British film with a great soundtrack too

Empire records is an awesome film. I have the ltd fan collectors edition with alternate scenes. My son was born on Rex Manning day! 8th april lol.

Id reccomend Casshern, the crow, centurion and hitchhikera guide. My petfaves are airheads and biodome as well as waynesworld because I want to ne Garth when I grow up

Curse of the golden flower - if you can deal with a depressing film.

Spaceballs - for 'roll your eyes' sci-fi comedy.

American Splendour

Looking for Eric - class British film.

Waltz with Bashir - animation, definitely for grown ups.

There are some great choices so far, some I've not heard of and will need to check out, a few classics and of course, there's also the odd dud (no names but police academy should have stopped at 2! )

For downright stupidness, try baseketball - it's the creaters of South Park, Matt Stone and Trey Parker and there is a brilliant scene where Cartman makes an appearance too

I'm a geek through and through, right now I'm watching The Avengers, and then Thor:The Dark World.

Spaceballs and The Princess Bride are a good laugh. I'm a fan of Rocky Horror too.

If you fancy a horror with a difference, check out Cabin in the Woods

sorry...but for some reason this was peter jacksons amazing scifi/reality that has been overlooked on its basic story and even moreso on its effects that rival the most recent effects laden films!
