I have a meeting with a director of a charity tomorrow about designing and implementing a new it system for a new office they have should i wear a suit or just smart casual as they approached me and i would be doing the work free of charge don't want to be over or under dressed

Suit as it's an initial meeting. Hopefully you get job so after that wear whatever.

Unless they have a dress code and you are not being paid so you don't have to sign any contract...wear what you want within reason lol :

Suit with open shirt and shiny black shoes you will feel comfy but look smart but casual

Don't work for free, experience or not. Know what you are worth!

Take it from a guy who's been there many times, got several businesses and her daily emails asking for freebies
