I'm doing the ten k at beginning of October is anyone else doing it ? And if so have you got your pack through yet?

I wish I was fit enough to do that. I'm only just learning to run. Doing couch to 5k. It's so hard when you have never ever been a runner

Would love to be taking part, but had to stop running due to impact injuries to my knee.

It's always a cracking day out! I usually do the 1/2 marathon but will miss my first one in 12 years this year as I am away to Tenirife!

Thanks folks.

I thought I had heard somebody say they had theirpack, but wasn't sure.

so if we tie a carrier bag to our trolleys in supermarkets to identify us, what do we tie to where when we are running ??????

don't know about tying anything but remember the vaseline in areas that chafe - especially nipples !!!

I've never had issues with the nipple burn until I was running in the rain with a new "proper " top.

It turned into what I can only describe as a wearable cheese / nipple grater !!! Not fun.

Did the 10k with the Mrs, but she whipped my ass on time and beat me by 5 mins... she is still gloating... not that I am complaining much, she did have a good run and smashed her PB
