I try to answer all msgs I get (tho some . I just can't) I'm looking for tips on letting ppl down gently if they just don't float my boat. Really don't want to offend anyone but when I have tried before to say thanks but no thanks it just tends to encourage more msgs. |

I always politely decline then if anyone continues to message me I block them, that way you don't hear from them again and if they are abusive then report them as well. My blocked list is massive but I don't care as it's me who makes the decisions. |

if the guy does that yeah... I don't want people to block me, I like chatting. It's not like I can talk to mates about what I like to do. Also I do like to thank people for writing back, it's nice to be looked at even if I didn't get picked... that is so sappy, shot me now. |

I felt really bad blocking guys when I first joined, but I got really fed up with the 'but why's'!
An abusive idiot made me cry, so I left for a wee while.
Now I try my best to answer all messages, but it's not always possible. My secretary only works part time

If you set filters to give yourself an age range it should help you cut down on the mail you will receive and if you really want to be Harsh set you filters so you don't receive mail from any single males and go look for the men you feel you would like to meet , that way all the males you contact will be hand picked by yourself so there should be no reason not to chat or in time meet .Hope this helps  |

I've a line on my profile that says I don't always reply. I don't tend to need to block and in general haven't had any problems.
I used to reply but then get bombarded with the oh but why. I don't have time or the inclination to explain my choices. |
