We are looking to get a hotel in Glasgow near some nice bars with some music, so we can meet, have a drink then go to the hotel for fun. But I can't seem to find any that aren't over £100 a night. Is that the normal price? I'm I just tight lol! Any recommendations would be good, thanks!!

You get what you pay for. If you want a nice hotel, with good facilities in a good area, then your going to pay for it. If you want cheap and nasty, pay cheap prices

I'm afraid that's the normal price for Glasgow. For a nice one anyway.

What I normally do is book one then the night before go on booking for some last min deals and if I find one cancel my reservation and book the cheaper one. I was once booked in the mercure and found it £50 cheaper and canceled and rebook ed. Xxxx

Always remember and check if any big events are on in Glasgow or any place you are planning a hotel meet as the price and availability shoots up

it really depends what your looking for, booking in advance can help too, premier inn never pay more than £60, had the ibis at £35

Premier inn use dynamic pricing... The higher the demand and the closer it is to the date the dearer it's going to be.

I work in a hotel and it usually depends on how busy we are.. our fancy club rooms are between 89 and 119 and normal comfort rooms are between 59 and 89
