There is hunners of threads about poor first messages and criticising certain types but what do you actually want to see?
I thought it'd be interesting to write yourself a first message, one that would make you pay attention and take an interest! |

It doesn't seem to matter how much effort you put into your first message, the women either choose to be interested or not, tbh I've probably had more luck from simple fist messages than actually putting in effort  |

This is a good idea.
I gave this some proper thought, wrote it out slowly & carefully, double checked spelling, sat for a while wondering whether or not to press send..... sent!

I've never been messaged 1st from any1 and I've tried loads of difrent types of 1st message and rarely get a reply but strangEly I've prob had more replies to a simple hi how are u would u fancy a chat please but I've no idea what to put in 1st message I always include a face pic but apart from that I've no idea I've seen loads posting about 1st message as op says but I've never received 1 so I don't hav any examples |

I'm not fussed about the first message. It can be awkward knowing where to start/what to say. If I get any message the first thing I do is check profile and see if they appeal and take it from there. |

Not into poetry, autobiographies, twenty questions, sexual references of any kind
I just prefer two or three lines of small talk and pleasantries. That is all you need |
