I thought i would ask what your all into. I was just speaking to a lady via messages about it (heh my inbox is filling up )

Im a big Neil Young fan. seen him 5 times the last being in aberdeen in june. i like to play the piano/guitar/harmonica/ukulele/banjo and usually its a neil young tune im trying to bang out. just a shame he sings in such a high key. I cant sing to begin with so as soon as i open my mouth the song falls to bits.

i also like Bob dylan and Leonard cohen. heh what a fun night it is in my house lol

My fav band as a kid was a band called Fad Gadget. the maybe little known but frank tovey was a pioneer in electronic music and their stuff still sounds great. Check them out on youtube.

I dont know any new bands but if anyone knows of any that might appeal to me then feel free to point me in the right direction.

What you all into? i bet there's a load of rockers here.

lol at your kylie Angus. your such a girl :p

Anthony and the johnstones i could listen to. fell has a great voice. It is a fella isnt it?

im gonna bore you now angus. Grace Jones did a cover of a song which was originally done by daniel miller under the name of 'the normal' it was the first single on Mute records which daniel miller set up. the 2nd band signed was my old favs Fad Gadget. depeche mode signed up and the rest is history. the song was warm Leatherette btw. yip im that interesting

I was a bit of a punk as a kid. never realy into the pistols mind. some older boy told me they where 'put together to make money' and his hatred of them filtered through to me. i was into SLF and anti knowhere league (ive even sucked an old man's cock so what)

I like all the bands you mentioned Kashmira but ive never heard of buckcherry so i'll give them a listen and get back to you. Is buck neneh and eagle-eye's brother?

thats a fine list mandf Puts me in mind of Conflict. I quite liked them too. I was only 7 when punk came out but i was in tartan bondage trousers by the age of 9. I hung about with my older brother and his pals. they let me finger girls and sniff glue. I soon grew out of sniffing glue. well i moved to london and took up gas sniffing. next thing you know im running about like simon le bon

that looks an interesting list jjk. ill check them out too. I have to confess to knowing more about Linda Kasabian than the band. I like a bit of trance myself poketpixie. I used to like a more rockier beat to it at times with a bit of Ozric Tentacles. they where part of eat static too i belive.

I listen to a lot of classical music these days myself like2see. I love Saint Sean's the swan for its sadness. that and the tune the played in Brassed Off (when she first played with the band)

Joaquín Rodrigo's Concierto de Aranjuez was the tune the band played in Brassed Off...one of my most favourite pieces of music. I chose this to be played when I was in labour with my youngest one.....been brassed off with him a few times too!

Could write a list as long as John Holmes' cock about favourite music but prefer to approach new music I hear with a sense of excitement.. and a hope that I'm going to like it... music has the capacity to make you cry, laugh, chill, fuck like porn star, shake your shammy like its never been shook before and do the ironing without reaching for the Wilkinson's sword and the ability of people to bring such emotions to the fore is always something that should be celebrated...even if it is cliff richard !!

AAAhhhhhhh....Cliff.......What a gig that was back in 1990 on a balmy summer's night....30 odd thousand of us stood in a field...bellowing out choons alomg with the great man.....

Well now they say to cut my hair

They're driving me insane

I grew it out long to make room for my brain

But sometimes people don't understand

What's a good boy doing in a rock and roll band

There's nothing wrong with playing blues licks

But if you got a reason tell me to my face

Why should the devil have all the good music

PMSL!!!! what afestival that was....even got to go see the guy that actually wrote this song...one of the best performances I have ever seen.....jeez,,,am reminiscing.....this should be in the childhood post...

I used to love her, but I had to kill her

I used to love her, but I had to kill her

I had to put her

Six feet under

And I can still hear her complain

I used to love her, but I had to kill her

I used to love her, but I had to kill her

I knew I miss her

So I had to keep her

She's buried right in my back yard

I used to love her, but I had to kill her

I used to love her, but I had to kill her

She bitched so much

She drove me nuts

And now I'm happier this way

I used to love her, but I had to kill her

I used to love her, but I had to kill her

I had to put her

Six feet under

And I can still hear her complain

Ok...Ok...I think I need help...pmsl
