Anyone here into the sorta Metal Scene in Glasgow/Edinburgh? I have rather broad taste for music anything from say The Who through Metal like Architects...Rap and Dance!

Just testing the waters to see if anyone is of the same taste!

Not from Glasgow but always there for gigs! Last 2 we where at were in Audio. Suffocation in June and Eyehategod this month. We have a broad taste in music and always trying to get to gigs

Am already away, so can't make it, but I would have loved to check out http://www.heavyscotland.com this year - Children of Bodom are always awesome, and I am loving the new Bleed From Within album (those guys are good!).

Rock and metal fan here too, though mostly rock i will admit. Mostly Edinburgh and surrounding areas but also some places in glasgow now and then like Audio, HRC, Garage etc

Do a fair bit of gig photography also in venues.

I’m into...so many things! I like a bit of black metal, doom metal, folk, classical, pop, rock, post-rock & on & on.

Some band that I like are;

The Twilight Sad, Sunn O))), Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Deftones, Chvrches, Placebo, Idlewild, Olafur Arnalds, Boards of Canada, Ahab, Norma Jean, Jesu, Tool, Levellers, Hurts & so on.

I was at GODFLESH the other week seen them b4 wasn't one of there best gigs but the opener were class the name slips my mind but I think they were called thrones and spires
