Hi All,
Being French I am always amazed by the rivalry between the two teams.
You rarely see that anywhere else in the world.
If a hot couple / Lady / man is a supposition g a team and you the other one.
Do you cancel the meet or still have fun?

It can add to the meet and have a good bit of banter with each other over rival teams.. Certainly wouldnt dismiss them but have had a bit of fun slanging them lol   |

Can honestly say if someone supporting a different team as you stops you meeting them your feckn idiots!!
Me n the hubby met a cpl a few yrs ago..getting down to business the guy takes off his shirt to reveal a giant rivals badge....did it stop us..did it hell!!

Gave up on football a long time ago played an under20’s match against one of them and was stretchered off
Then played an amateur cup game where my team played in similar colours to one and we played a team from the same neighbourhood as the other and the religious bile that went on was sickening even st amateur level
Hung up my boots and have never been back

I support one team and Mr supports the other. So no chance of cancelling a meet. I would say more chance that Mr would tho pmsl it doesn't come up in conversation often unless they had mentioned they had been to/going to a game. I then say aww great or hope yous get humped. It's always taken light hearted tho. I wouldn't meet someone with celtic/rangers reference in their profile name tho. They wouldn't get past 2 messages x |

I had a meet with a guy who informed me he wouldn't have met me if I was a Celtic supporter. Any other team was fine. He had no green in his home either he said.
He was an extremely likeable man in other ways but we didn't have a second meet |

my family is mainly green aswell, my big bro is green and I’m blue, that is hard for a lot to take in on holidays. Me and him have had fallings out over the old firm shite but at the end of the day blood is thicker than water |

I don’t see why beyond some friendly banter which team you support matters. It does confuse me how someone with no connection to Glasgow supports Celtic or rangers. |

It's something I do ask b4 meeting but only due to a tattoo I done on my thigh when I was a teenager that some people thing is immature or can be a bit offended by it. I've never been with girl who supported opposite team from me, but it deffo wouldn't be an issue for me... only friendly banter |

I have to say I agree with this. If you take football so seriously that you reference it on here, then we wouldn't be suitable.

Having a bit of banter about football wouldn’t put us off a meet. Being a bitter, bigoted fuck nugget who references the opiate of the masses i.e. religion (of any denomination) would however put us off. |
