What do folk make of the news this morning that Glasgow lawyer Aamer Anwar is representing the family of the jihadist bride in her attempt to be allowed back into the country?
I personally think this guy is a disgrace to this country. |

Is that not DF's job as a QC? He is appointed by the bar to represent people charged with serious crimes. Almost every case will be on Legal Aid so the accused cannot choose their QC. Likewise DF rarely chooses who he represents.
Amwar on the other hand actively seek's out these cases. A horrible self promoting individual who is no friend of the UK. |

Yeah he’s just sticking his oar in trying to stay relevant.
Not trying to come off as racist but whenever there’s some case involving an ‘ethnic minority’ in Scotland he’s always beside them funnily enough I’ve only ever seen him with clients of ethnic background.

Having been in the box a few times what struck me was how absolutely crap a lot of the legal profession are, way over paid and under played,clueless and out of touch, cut their fees,give me a good common sense locker room lawyer any day...... |
