Depends what you call new, with my favorite band being The Chantel Mcgregor Band, with me first seeing Chantel play at a small festival years ago when she was only 14 and I wondered what the young girl in the frilly party dress who's walked onto the stage with a Strat was going to do with it, play nursery rhymes?
Nope, she shredded it like a pro, and even then you knew you were seeing something special.
At 17 she was offered a multi million £ recording contract by one of the big names, but told them to get lost when they told her she would have to change both her dress and playing style as the market wouldn't stand a woman dressing and playing blues & rock guitar as she did, instead going to Leeds School of Music where she took a 1st class honours degree in music, (with distinction), on graduation setting up her own management and record company and she's never looked back since, winning Best Newcomer, and Best Vocals & Guitar at the British Blues Awards several times.

She's playing Glasgow and Edinburgh, (Bannermans), in the next few months, well worth going to see here if you like your music of the blues & rock variety  |

Saw a band in Edinburgh by chance last night at Opium from dundee and by god was the singer hot  (great voice too btw. Musically not my bag though. Bravado or something they were called.
New bands for me are pretty thin on the ground. Gabby Barret, country singer has a single out I can stop playing just now but that’s all she has - never a good sign in my book.
Really like Dave, grime dude, as well. His lyrics are amazing for such a young mind.
Nowt else springing to mind just now.
