What You Look at When You View A Profile

I've been away for a few years and came back recently and looked on a few profiles and there is quite a bit of depth to them, which I enjoyed. Few years back I felt a lot of profile just had a sentence or two.

What do you look for when looking at a profile, the pictures, the location, the age range, the main profile text etc...

I pretty much scrutinise the whole profile

If neither accommodate then why message? If neither match the other's requirements then why message? I also look at how long they have been on the site. Longest I've seen is 10 years with no verifications!

That's just a few things I look for. So much more, but don't want to give all my secrets away

Countless dick pics make me think....."dick" funnily enough. Occasionally the profile blurb gets me beyond that though and I'm willing to give someone a chance.

Hyperbolic verifications are instant swerve for me too.

It’s like the apprentice - each aspect is a hurdle to get over

Too many dick pictures .... fired

Not tall enough ... fired

Verifications - either on for years and none or some that just raise flags ..... fired

Profile text is empty or full of CAPS, txt spk or is ranty / full of entitlement..... fired

It’s a hell of a process lol

Not at all as my 5ft 10 female friend was quite happy with her 5ft 5 boyfriend for quite a few years. Just because i like taller guys than myself does not mean everyone feels the same.

Usually first thing wld be the content of text ,then see the last time they were verified always chat with people who are verified in person I do ,I look to see if the last time they posted a pic if it's over a year alarm bells ring and I leave but generally I always scrutinize the lot , I'm a slow builder I do like smash n grab meets

Verifications firstly and then we read there profile from start to finish and then yet again and if there like us that there profile is light hearted then that's for us.

We can't stand these portentous profiles that big themselves up.

I look at everything, if I’m considering meeting someone then vetting (not a nice word but it’ll do

) is important.

Interestingly I find 99% of messages I get have either not read or ignored my profile. For some strange reason volume of messages is in direct proportion to pictures on my public gallery... coincidence???

I come from a really large family - 80 full cousins and who knows how many in the next two generations so there are lots of different characters and relationships.

Often thought of writing a novel or soap opera based on them, be more dramatic than Eastenders!!

If full of do's/don't or a long essay, then I skip the whole profile.

I check out the entire profile if I'm just being nosy. If I'm looking at a profile with a possible mind to actually contacting them, I first check if they're a smoker. If not, then I'll look to see if we fit each other's preferences and interests, then read their blurb, and finally look at their pics if nothing in the blurb puts me off. I'm not bothered about stats like height/size/tatts etc. It's good if someone has verifications but I'm not majorly fussed to read them.
