I recently had a guy who replied, when told the answer to his query was in my profile, that 'oh I wouldn't read that'.

I always read the profiles. Some do write waaaayy too much and some have random requests like "quote this word" so I know you've read the profile.

Helps to find out if you are what they're looking for

The oft used phrase in fab parlance is that people use fab to suit themselves. So yes it probably doesnt matter what you write.

A lot of profiles don't actually reflect the person that's written them. That usually becomes evident pretty quickly

I always read the profiles, although doesn't seem to matter sometimes. As a guy on here, getting a reply or fitting someone's criteria is like like getting blood out a stone.

I've basically done away with profile text and just have a couple of pics. Most of my interaction is in response to posts on here.

Always read the profile ,it helps in deciding what to write in a first message . Also a good way of checking that their likes match with yours .

I also read the profile’s, however sometimes you see a sexy asf pic on the update and automatically use your wee brain and message away.. what do you expect from a red blooded male

It’s when someone reads the profile then message you knowing they aren’t what we’re looking for then give you abuse cause we deleted the message
