i have been so wrapped up making sure my sisters an my kids are all coping that i had forgotten my self i have yet to grieve or cry so this little prayer you have written, has helped me lots just when i needed it most .

So sorry to hear that you have lost your dad,I lost my dad suddenly, the week b4 christmas in 1998,so know what your going through.Thinking of you at this difficult time,with deepest sympathy.Happy memories can be a great comfort as time goes by.Hepburn69. |

Hi Sioux,
Were both thinking of you in these sad times.
When my mum passed last month, the messages I had from friends on here really helped, nice to know so many people are there to support you. I hope all the messages above help you to come to terms with your loss.
It does get easier in time, remember the good times and be strong for the kids. XX

once agian im am so touched with all the wishes of support from all my friends an fab family at this time.
poems and prayers are helping all of us at this time and i have personally read out each and every poem an words of sympathy to my sisters an our children.

Echoing Laine's OP - this from Bishop Brent.
I am standing on the seashore, a ship sails and spreads her white sails to the morning breeze and starts for the ocean.
She is an object of beauty and I stand watching her till at last she fades on the horizon, and someone at my side says “she is gone”.
Gone where?
Gone from my sight that is all. She is just as large in the masts, hull and spurs, as she was when I saw her, and just as able to bear her load of living freight to its destination.
The diminished size, the total loss of sight is in me not in her, and just at the moment when someone at my side says “She is gone”.
There are others who are watching her coming, and other voices take up the glad shout “here she comes.”
And that is dying. |
