For female profiles:-
Usually 'athletic' in build
Any pics public or sent privately are usually of someone absolutely stunning
Overly filthy with status updates or initial messages etc

I don't know if there is a guaranteed way to spot.
I got stung when we first joined and now work from the starting point that people aren't to be trusted until they prove otherwise. |

Not many females if any talk the way some of these profiles describe themselves there was also a phase a while ago of much older female profiles describing themselves in the same way lol |

A man once messaged me from Wales. When i check his profile his pics were the same as my friend in Glasgow. I also on 2 occassions have had women chatting to me out of the blue and sending me friend requests. These i suspect are really males. |

Dunno, but I'll share what my good friends pointed out to me earlier today before we organised our first meet - they're young, pretty, female, bisexual twins on here as a couple, and obviously two heads are always better than one.
They explained that this thread may well become a darn good training manual for wannabe fakers. Many of our surefire faker observations and assessments may become obsolete, giving way to a whole new breed of indistinguishable imposter.

My mrs normal deals with messages, i normally hoover the forum lol can tell fakes as they are only picture verified. No veris and the way they message.. but again you get messages from gen folk. Hi... how are you? Want to meet? Seriously???? Straight away.. puts us off mega lol |

As others have said, "over a year" profile with "will fill in later" as their bio. General laziness. There was a profile on here a few weeks ago where all the pictures were photos taken on a phone of a computer screen running some homemade porn! |
