Tenerife went into phase 1 last Monday, cafes and bars reopen to 50% capacity, and a few other restrictions lifted, the problem is people are thinking its over, its almost like there wasn’t a virus, last Monday was like letting thousands of caged animals out for the first time but thankfully it’s calmed down now but it’s took some bars being closed and fined thousands of euros and people being arrested for it to calm down otherwise everyone will be in strict lockdown again. |

We`ve seen that up in Madrid, crazy as Madrid is the worst hit? the boarders are not opening so hopefully down here it won`t be too bad, be nice to get out and have a drive with the roof off in the sunshine! |

We're in Tenerife in Phase 2 since last monday. But still obligated to wear face mask in public places where social distance is impossible. But positive is that all bars & restaurants are allowed open outside & inside and we can go to the beach jejeje |

I know what you mean "Sexy Becky" that first beer tasted great, people around here are being very good, we cannot travel out of Malaga region but at least I can touch base with my mate in Benalmadena for a beer this evening, first time in over 2 months but as someone else said above only the bars with the outside seating areas will be open, we all used to laugh at the Chinese and Michael Jackson when we saw them wearing their masks...…. not so laughable now? I1m sure a percentage of people will even after the all clear is given will continue to wear a mask in public places?
On a lighter note the pool temperature has come up and the sun will be shining now until October, boarders are open on the 1st of July, enjoy your summer everyone but take care. |
