"What’s everyone doing for the Covid test before they go as I imagine it will be more difficult with the Christmas/New Year bank holidays?"
We are hoping that we can get a “ quick test” on the 27th that will be valid as we are flying on the 28th !! |

We fly on the 27th, but the legislation that comes into force tomorrow states a PCR test. We were hoping to do the 15 minute antigen test, but we'll find out soon enough if that's still acceptable. If not, not sure how we will be able to do it?

This only helps if you are flying from London, but overnight PCR testing can be done at Sofitel Hotel Heathrow, test handed in by 8pm, results the next morning, via the HALO app. Just Google Sofitel rest and test. Tests are £69. |

we are in the same boat flying out boxing day phoned a few places today regards to test and so far no guarantees getting test back on time Will update thread when I hear more   |

I think we have to be patient. There are moves afoot to agree the 30 min test will be sufficient as it is now ( not the PCR version that Spain are asking for from the 23rd ) |
