Most of the vaccinated, at that time are likely to be the over 70's, if we're talking UK visitors and it will be many months before under 50's are vaccinated, so depends what group you fall in |

Government say all over 18 year olds should be vaccinated by the autumn so expect it will be October/November time
Our daughter who is a front line mid wife has had her second jab and has a certificate to show she is fully inoculated

I think we all have to wait and see. Different countries rolling out vaccine at different times. News will change daily and weekly, I guess we get the vaccine when we get it hope it’s a four week wait for second instead of 12 weeks. After that I’m sure GC will be waiting with open arms and over a years worth of tun will be caught up on |

Obviously Spain's PM saying no tourists until at least the end of Summer is something NO-ONE in Gran Canaria wants. Mainland Spain will probably be OK with that as they don't rely on tourism as much to survive. Sanchez isn't seeing the big picture unfortunately 
We just need to keep to the rules, as much as we can when they change so much, stay safe and vigilant. Fingers crossed for amazing times ahead! Miss Eden_GC Xx |
