Hi, anyone around Morro Jable, we've been here a few days now.

Newmarket

You’ll find that south of Caleta de fuste is predominantly German occupied and north is British, always been that way…

Nice beaches down there though, and plenty of German swingers too…

We always stay in corralejo but really need to explore the south of the island more.

What's the roads like down there to Jandia? Can you get by with a car or would I really be needing a 4x4?

I know the insurance doesn't cover it

The road is awesome. No need for a 4x4. Typical EU funded highway for parts too. We also drove down to Cofete beach but the road there was really bad. Seen 2 blowouts on the way there and back. Worth it though as it’s stunning

The road is great down to the south and the beaches are also.

There are more Germans than us but that shouldn't bother you

Not there now… but if you’re looking for a great restaurant can highly recommend La bodega de jandia….. you’ll have to book but it’s well worth it.

We’re looking at going to the South for a week at New Year. It looks to us that there’s a bit more going on in Costa Calma, are we correct? We’ll have a car so won’t be restricted to one place though.
