Latest news from corralejo is the surf school has been closed down along with the sunbeds and bar. It must be being run by Boris Johnston's stupid Spanish cousin.

It's all very complicated..surf school not closed just lost shack on flag beach..its do with a dodgy deal in 2015 (now different mayor) .. long term it will return to normal but the politics here make Westminster look like playschool .... On another note the local mayor has a new house and a fab new sport car (not related honest)

First time in fuerte, or any of the canaries ?

If first time to any, then you'll love it there. And it's easy to get an ' all over tan.

North West

We are in Corralejo 01st to 10th September.

Our 'happy place' is the dunes at the South end of Glass Beach (about a mile south of the Riu hotels).

Can't wait to he there!

"is there sunbeds on the nudist beach in corraleco we planning on going november.. heard places in spain removed all sunbeds due to a dispute"

There are no sun beds on any part of the main beach (Grandes Playas) including the nudist part

We understand that it’s due to a licensing problem with no date on when it will be resolved.

I hope they get returned soon for those that want them. Personally I prefer the stone circles , more private.

Yes,we hope that the authorities will see sense, but it is rumoured that the intention is to return the area to its natural state….including the hotels eventually!

The stone circles are ok, but lying on the sand doesn’t do alot for our backs…..and the sand gets in places it shouldn’t!!

Kneeling occasionally helps the back.

And plenty of things get in places maybe they shouldn't

A bit like Facebook. It’s fake news.

Stone circles are still there, so no need to bring stones in your luggage

Bi biker

Your absolutely right still lots of stone circles to keep the wind at bay

I think the stone thing got lost in translation along the way like Chinese whispers

The local authorities have been knocking down the stones balanced on top of each other things as they pose both a threat of toppling over and to try and stop people disturbing habitats for small creatures

Just my understanding

Happy beach life to all

Twin

Banff

Many stone circles have been removed in El Cotillo by the authorities, particularly those close to the village and out to (and including) the very popular La Concha beach. Fact.

My philosophy is enjoy your holiday and enjoy being outdoors in the sun and if an opportunity arises then it’s a bonus for all

I’ve had lots of great times naked on the beach alone taking in the incredible feeling of exhilaration

Just how I now look at being away on my own

Perfect way of looking at it. I love the place. If extra fun comes along it's a bonus.
