Hey, I'm thinking of catching a ferry from Spain mainland to GC for a week or 2 of bikepacking acros the entire island in February. For those who don't know what bikepacking is, it's basically me and my bicycle. I carry everything I need to survive on the road and just camp wherever. I hope to see some great places and maybe meet any fabbers and/or hosts on the way.
Get in touch for reccomendations of places to go and stuff to do. I plan to do the entire island on bicycle.
Thanks all! |

You've picked the perfect island to tour by motorbike.
We'll start by saying you'll have great fun on the mountain roads attracts a lot of bikers and cyclists. The scenery is amazing and lots of bars and restaurant along the road sides and beautiful little villages. Make sure you climb the highest point.
PDI is the area where the swingers bars and clubs are at, lot of hotels you can just check in to.
There is a tourist guide but just explore independently as you'll find some real hidden gems.
This island as a lot to offer with the sex scene side being only a small part of the attraction.
If you are there in November let us know xxx

Fair play to you matey! He's not on a motorbike, but will be cycling around the island!!
Pedaling into that wind with a bike loaded with all your gear will take a fair bit of effort, but will be worth it for the views and experiences. |

Thanks for all the replies. Yes, I plan to cycle this one. Leave my motorcycle at home and get some fresh air and exercise.
I think it is pretty nailed on that I will be trying this. Yes, it is going to be hard. But then it'll make the food, drink and any extra activities all the better after the sights all day.
Unfortunately it won't be November . It will be Jan or Feb, maybe even March. |
