Quick question! Having never been to Gran Canaria/Maspalomas before we were hoping for some advice. We’re going to be staying in an adults only hotel (but not a swingers hotel) so we’re wondering if it would be inappropriate for the wife to wear a very skimpy micro-bikini by the pool?
Also, what’s the general nightlife like, as in, is it just a standard sun resort type vibe or is it leaning more towards the hedonistic type vibe?

Yes thanks, we did, just curious about the poolside and nightlife. We will defo be visiting the nudist beach but wouldn’t want to spend all our time there but Mrs likes to wear very little around the pool where possible when we go abroad, adult only hotels are generally less concerned about this but that is very much dependent on the country |

It really depends on the hotel and who’s staying there at that point. We’ve just come back and would say in ours on any given day some women were in bikinis some topless and some in just micro thongs but everyone seemed to make the choice on the day there wasn’t a norm other than do what you like

As others have said, it really depends on which hotel you are at as to what is perceived as normal.
We've stayed in a couple and visited a couple more and mostly as long as you're only topless around the pool it's generally OK.
Hope you find a nice hotel and have a great time out there. |
