Has anyone been to PDI for new year, how busy is it and what is open in both Cita and Yumbo, advise would be appreciated.

Zurich. NOT London.

We go pretty much every year. It's busy, not October busy thankfully, but there are plenty of people about.

The bars and clubs are open with some Xmas and Syvesyer/New Year's Eve events.
