"Thinking of going to PDI for Christmas. Anyone been before and has an opinion on what it would be like for a solo traveller? "
We have been for Christmas years ago with the kids. Family holiday...no giggling at the back! It was VERY quiet indeed and even though we were at that time blissfully unaware of the other side of PDI no people is still no people. Even December is quiet if this thread is anything to go by.
You can still toast your toes though, or like us, go hiking in the hinterland |

We have had quite the opposite experience. Venus Atar has been fully booked since last xmas, I think SWParadise is fully booked, we travel out immediately after Xmas, usually the 27th, and have done for several years. It's never been quiet, but maybe that's because we always stay at Venus which is always full. |

We fly out on the 8th a Canarian national holiday and return on the 16th. It's a early Christmas present for us. Staying again at the Greenfield hotel
Would love to speak with anyone who is there on those dates |
