We have had quite the opposite experience. Venus Atar has been fully booked since last xmas, I think SWParadise is fully booked, we travel out immediately after Xmas, usually the 27th, and have done for several years. It's never been quiet, but maybe that's because we always stay at Venus which is always full. |

True...Venus in particular is said to be lively full time...but we were on a family holiday with young kids so not exactly checking that out! |

We are thinking of pdi late September for our first time. Looking to meet there and see what happens. We've only ever done cam so far. Let us know if you're there late Sept early Oct. Also advice on where to go etc would be helpful x

No need to prebook and some of the car hire sites offering pre-booking are not cheap!

Bus is cheapest if you can manage the hassle and time it takes.
Quickest is taxi. There are loads of taxis waiting at airport and average trip cost is €50/€60. If there are a few of you it's not expensive and travel time to PDI about 22min and 26min to Maspalomas.
Taxi is worth it to keep you relaxed and in the holiday mood. Last thing you want is to start off stressed.  |

Yes last time i used taxi from pdi to airport 46 euro that was September a cpl of months ago ,gave him 50 , if 2_ of you its worthy it ,come out airport turn right they are all waiting for you no problem x |

i just wore thin cotton trousers and casual shirt - better safe than sorry no entry lol |

I wore Chino shorts and a polo shirt and never had a problem. From what we saw of the locals it was mostly jeans and t-shirts.

Dress shorts, smart footwear and top are fine everywhere with the possible exception of Majestic. Not sure how that is working for them as we were there 23.30 a couple of nights ago (dress jeans) and we were the only people in!
