We went last October for the first time and loved it, our advice would be to have a hotel near to the Cita or Yumbo.
We stopped at the Catarina due to it being a 2min walk from Cita and had no complaints, however alot of Fabsters stay at Gold.

June/July is a lot quieter than the winter months..some of the bars and clubs are closed for their own holidays...Best time is october-april especially october and november as its peak winter season |
