Adults only hotels

Stoke-On-Trent

Ladies and Gents , we haven’t been to a adults only hotel before, we have a few questions regarding those types of hotels . Has anyone been? What is the atmosphere like .

Dress sense at night ? Do swingers openly identify themselves?

We haven’t booked yet for August but we are excited about the idea of spending two weeks in an adult only hotel . Any advise or stories would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance xx

We apologise if we’ve offended anyone , we saw a snipe comment about this post made as example of in another thread with same title .

It was a genuine question. We’ve heard people talking about fun etc but maybe they were either fantasies or in a swingers hotel.

Thank you

Adults only is just that no hint of swinging unless you book those associated with swingers and naturists. There’s plenty threads on here outlining the hotels that are regarded as those. Gold,Caterina, Greenfields etc

Caterina is neither an adult hotel or a swingers hotel it's a family hotel with a naturist sun terrace

Never stayed at gold or Greenfield bit I assume they are similar

There are only 3 "swingers" resorts that I'm aware of

Yup Venus, Venus Star and La Mirage. I think there is another one in Melanores or Maspalomas for naturists?

Not offended at all. It's just that there is a misconception as to what "adults only" actually means.

As said above, on GC there are 3 swinger complexes and while they may be adults only it doesn't mean that every adult only hotel is a swinger complex.

Nearly all adult only hotels on GC and Spain as a whole just means there are no kids.

On the mainland most of them are full of pensioners just wanting peace and quiet, and I'm sure at certain times of the year the same would apply to GC.

There also seems to be a general misconception that the world is stuffed full of swinger resorts and hotels. It isn't.

A swinger hotel (not resort) in the Caribbean, a similar one in Mexico, 3 small swinger complexes on GC, a naturist resort (Cap d'Agde) in France that attracts a lot of swingers, an occasional, and very expensive, cruise ship takeover, and an odd swinger B&B dotted here and there.

That is it, the lot, total, worldwide.
