I could think of worse places to travel solo. PDI is quite a liberated resort, so I have no doubt you’ll have a social life there.
From a single female travelling safely perspective, It’s as safe as most popular resorts but like anywhere stick to the basic rules of safety and you should have a wonderful occasion. |

I went as a single guy last November and had a great time! I made some good friends with couples who didn’t play with single men but that didn’t stop us enjoying chatting to each other and having a drink. Just be nice and respectful and while there are no guarantees (and nor should there be) it’s not hard to have a good time. |
