Hi we’re going to Costa calma 4 th Jan , not been to south before, do you visit often? Looks nice, hoping for some sun naked on beach and any fun would be a bonus |

Yes, we've been to Costa Calma quite a few times and we've also done the north. Although most of the beaches appear to be clothing optional it is our opinion that out of respect for the local population nudity on the main town beach is not really the done thing. There are two sandy bays just a little further south (and an easy walk) where many people sunbathe nude. The second beach just beyond the shorefront cafe/bar Palmita is a larger bay with some stone shelters. The clientelle in this area seems to have a high percentage of Germans but they are typically as polite as the rest of us. As for 'fun' outdoors, you have to be very discrete. It is rare to see people engaging in sexual activity but we have seen it a few times. There are many more 'fabbers' in the north of the island but keep your 'who's near' activated and you might get lucky for an indoor meet. Good luck and hope you enjoy. |
