Why does message history get deleted? I can't seem to check history past 3 months and it would be good to know why a conversation broke down. Is there any way to retrieve such messages

Id say it takes up space but is the option to save if it's important as it could be important to one and not the system

It's more for when folk get back in touch, there is no paper trail of what was said previously.

Try and get in the habit of "Save" messages from people you're interested in. I'm not sure what the limit is on mailboxes but nothing seems to stick around more than a couple of weeks for us.

I often use the private notes function and write a little reminder for myself in case I need it later.
