Exactly what we do to some extent. If I think the wife might be interested, I leave it unread for her. |

We do this on our couples account as well.
I tend to give people a week. If they have been online frequently and after a week its not been read, I will delete it myself.
Lots of people read the message via email notifications and then view your profile in secret mode.

I give them a week to reply, save a private note against their profile if they don’t, then delete my message to them, and move on. If they come back to me, great! If not, so be it 👍 |

There is no 'solution' that's going to please everyone, so we have to put our preferences to one side and find a way to make the site work for us... Some degree of compromise is all part and parcel of (fab) life. |
