It's funny that escorts aren't allowed but people can arrange "parties" and charge similar amounts, well above the actual cost of the event.

I was invited to a meet then asked for £40 to pay towards a room but then told the couple would only be there for an hour as they'd already spent the last 6 partying with a large number of other guys! I politely declined lol

Escorts ARE allowed, they just can't charge. Ditto parties - if you feel the amount is a scam then report it.

Don't go then! Is anybody forcing you to go? No! People arrange parties and have costs to cover. If you don't like ignore. I'm sure somebody else will go.

I was saying that once they start making a profit from the meet does that not make them the equivalent to an escort.

It's a way of getting around rules and laws. Pretend you're having a party,invite lots of men and charge them for the privilege. Men pay,it's a way of getting sex. The women get their cut or the couple have a nice little earner all in the name of swinging

Of course yes but they put it down as costs

Its hard to say if people are making a profile sometimes as the site does not know how many they are charging or what the event is costing them, but if they have booked a travel lodge and invited 6 guys at £50 each then in my opinion that's prostition

I know a couple who hold parties at their house and charge, there have no out going costs at all

The OP makes a fair point. I have no problems with paid parties or prostitution for that matter (I've always thought it should be legalised but that's another discussion).

The question is, should it be allowed on the site. I don't think the numbers seen at the moment cause any problems but needs keeping an eye on in case they multiply.
