Talk to her. Find out what she actually wants because everyone's interpretation of being dominated is different. She may want a steamy tie and tease session or she may have some secret fetishes that she might need help pushing her boundaries with. Dominance might not be for you.

In my experience,
be patient,
communicate clearly what it is that turns you on and what the boundaries are,
be prepared to have a few stumbles and a few laughs as you are trying out new things,
be prepared for surprises,
try it if either doesn't like it try something else,
negotiate,
be open-minded,
look out for each-other,
be prepared to learn about eachothers desires by swapping roles a little because by receiving it as well as giving it the actions can speak louder than words so that you both might gain an insight into the others role
