It depends on when Admin are on to do it.
Have a look in your manage photo's incase it tells you if it has been rejected or not. ( it tells you for normal photo's but I am not 100% sure wether it tells you if a PV has been rejected)
I would say, you have had lots of advice now, have taken some of it and changed things, now you need to just join in...be that forums/chat or socials or all three.
