Thoughts on meeting people you already think you know? Would it work or just become awkward?

It happens. Just keep them as close or distant as you are comfortable with. Acknowledge them as appropriate. I don't mix pleasure with business etc, so respect boundaries and maintain confidentiality. Low key is ideal, wait for others to make moves, potentially as if you'd not really noticed anything etc. I'm friendly with everyone but also blonde, so can pass off as blissfully ignorant

I wouldn't meet someone I might recognise mainly because I haven't seen anybody I remotely find attractive that I'd recognise again.

I bumped into a couple I’ve played with a few times.....in Tesco.

We wandered down a couple of aisles together chatting about what we were having for tea!

Surely it would depend on how you know them?

And that's how it should be.

Been there. Recognised a party host through her hubby at our local supermarket. Turns out they live 3-4 streets away. Chatted about vanilla stuff and haven’t seen them since.

Plus a mum from the local cub group a few years ago. We’d been chatting online and only twigged it when we both arrived at the same time to collect respective sons. Both wanted to meet and play as I had a FB at that point. Great 4sum fun

under my rock cleethorpes

I’ve recognised a few people and I try to be as discreet as possible, I don’t message to let them know (except for once to say they were highly recognisable and thought it was only fair they know me too to keep things level, they did seem to appreciate that) if I’m messaged by someone I recognise I tell them straight away and give them he option to block and assure I will always keep discretion going, I have had some I’ve chatted to locally see me in the street and say something and I don’t mind too much if I’m alone but think it’s terrible when they say something when I’m with someone such as my daughter for instance and I let them know in no uncertain terms what I think

What if you know them to the point you socialise with them frequently? But yet think you meet what they're looking for!?

Depends who it was, but been spotted by family and friends before, had some right good chats with my niece on here stuff like that doesn't bother me, my 'real' life and fab life are already blurred into each other. Much easier and better than living a dual life I find

Message 'em.

I did with a couple I work with...no worries, it's like a little 'in joke' at work at times now

Once with a lady I'd met previously. She looked to be with her up to that point undeclared other half though, so whilst we made eye contact it went no further than that...

Thing is im pretty sure they have seen my profile and know its me.. but yet havent blocked me.. and it seems like when i meet them socially last few weeks the talk instantly turns to sex. She is so hot and such a nice person. I feel like approaching them but am still a little unsure as i dont want to ruin a good social friendship......

If I have met people or played with people I wouldn't cross the street to avoid them, a simple hello and vanilla convo or a smile as we pass, I smile at strangers so don't see an issue, however if someone has just "seen" me and tried to introduce themselves with "I know you from fab" or anything similar I'm likely to drop them on their arse on the spot

Always nice to find a school run mum here. We all have needs so if the glove fits, wear it!

We were at Hamshaws, long gone, and to our surprise saw someone we knew, the wife used to babysit her kids.

She saw us and legged it which was all a bit silly.

We saw a couple in the club, my partner recognised one of them from work so they both avoided each other for the night. Came across them by accident on here a few weeks on, only came out who was who when face pics were shared. Decided to meet for a social and ended up doing way more than that - great fun and not awkward at all

I’ve been recognised quite a few times. It’s annoying if you don’t know who they are but they know you. They just sent me a mwahaha I know who you are message using my real name then blocked me!

I’m a bit wary of sending face pics first now. I was chatting to one girl and she was super keento meet up, sent her a face pic and she blocked me instantly. I might just be ugly but I suspect I may know her too and she panicked.

Might just ask for face pics first from now on.
