I am not new to swinging but I am new to the club scene. Do people tend to approach single men in clubs to play or can it get awkward?

Alex.

To be honest I wouldnt expect women to approach but its nice if they do lol.

Have a drink and mingle and getting to people would be my advice.

We've seen single guys in clubs just sit in a corner with there drink all night. Yes people can be nervous but at the same time make an effort.

All the best.

We've started conversations with lone guys in clubs before. Not to play but more just to make them feel involved. If you can look approachable and happy to be there then that helps!

Have a smile on your face and greet people as you pass them or as you wait for drinks alongside them. Have some openers ready for when they do want to engage with you. We find talking about club experiences is a fairly fertile ground for getting a conversation in a club off the ground. Then go from there. They might not drag you to the nearest playroom but you'll probably stick in their minds as a decent bloke who didn't try and grope them at the first opportunity

You might find the scene works better to be a bit more involved and pro active rather than waiting to be approached.

But yes, people play with single males at clubs

We go specifically to meet single men. You’ll be fine!

Away with the fairies (Liverpool to you)

Go to the jacuzzi!!! It is soooooo easy to start talking to people in the spa areas - much more chilled and less pressure for newbies

It can be awkward as a single, but it can also be great fun. You'll never know unless you try, and do you really want to spend the rest of your days wondering?

Just go and do it, I did.

Up on them there hills

I know it has been said many times, however, it is true, expect nothing,, have fun, respect others, if it clicks, others will be more welcoming.

Go the opposite, suggest a prostitute would be a better bet.

The ladies and men in clubs are not unpaid prositutes, just people having fun with likeminded people in a relaxed atmosphere, well in my world.

As a fellow single bloke I would advise you do the following.

Put up a meet and status saying what club your going to and when. Likewise look out for others on Fab going the same night as you.

That's what I did when I started going to parties/clubs/spa's. It meant I had people to go with and talk to once I was there.

When your there be sociable talk to everyone and even and make it clear your happy to be there. Try not to end up sitting/standing in a corner on your own.

If there's a bar area or a tub they can be good for breaking the ice.

Don't expect too much and be proactive in approaching people you like the look of. As long as your polite, cheerful and not pushy you should be fine.

That's good advice

"Have a smile on your face and greet people as you pass them or as you wait for drinks alongside them. "

Smiling and looking as approachable as possible is the key.

The other option is to try and meet someone on here to take as a wingman or female partner. There are normally a few women looking for escorts to club nights.

You wouldn't be the odd one out though, as lots of people go to clubs alone. I go to lots of clubs by myself, and I like the fact that single gay guys go as that's who I look for.
